College scouts were there in abundance. Of course, under NCAA rules no one can speak to them while they are at the tournament. We saw scouts from ASU, UCLA, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Vanguard, Pt. Loma Nazarene, Portland, Fresno State, New Mexico State, Loyola Marymount, Georgia, Gonzaga, USC, Long Beach State, BYU, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Santa Clara University, SDSU, UCSD, UCSB, and many others. Some schools had 2-3 coaches present to cover the games.
